Manufacturer warranty
New products carry the manufacturer's standard warranty for the region of sale. Warranty service is provided by the manufacturer or its authorized service centres. Your invoice serves as proof of purchase.
Supplier warranty
Open-box and refurbished units not eligible for manufacturer coverage carry a Quality Electronics supplier warranty for the period listed in Product condition grades. We repair, replace or credit units that fail under normal use during that period.
Not covered
- Physical damage, liquid damage or misuse
- Units with removed, altered or damaged serial labels
- Software issues, viruses or data loss
- Consumables such as toner, ink and batteries beyond 30 days
- Units opened or modified by unauthorized technicians
Making a claim
For manufacturer warranty, contact the manufacturer directly with the serial number and invoice. For supplier warranty, open an RMA as described in Returns & RMA.
Typical manufacturer warranty periods
| Category | Typical standard warranty |
|---|---|
| Business laptops and desktops | 1–3 years, depending on model and region |
| Consumer laptops | 1 year |
| Printers | 1 year; some business models longer |
| Monitors | 1–3 years |
| Cameras and lenses | 1 year in most regions |
| Drones | Varies by component; batteries usually shorter |
| Storage drives | 2–5 years, depending on the product line |
Periods vary by model and region. Check the manufacturer's warranty lookup with the serial number for the exact coverage.
Checking warranty status
Most manufacturers offer an online warranty check using the serial number. Our serial list makes this quick for every unit you buy. Coverage usually starts from the date on your invoice; keep invoices with your records.
Extended warranty
For many business brands we can quote manufacturer care packs and extended warranties at the time of purchase. Some must be registered within a set period after purchase, so order them together with the hardware.
Dead on arrival (DOA)
A unit that fails on first power-up or within the DOA window is handled by us directly, not by the manufacturer. We replace or credit it after a quick check, so you do not have to wait for a manufacturer repair.
