Prepayment
New accounts pay in advance. Orders ship once payment is received and verified.
Net terms
Established customers can apply for Net 15 or Net 30 terms after a history of prepaid orders. Approval is based on order history, trade references and a credit review. Credit limits are set per account.
Late payment
Overdue balances may place an account on hold and may carry interest as stated in the Terms of sale.
Payment security
Our banking details never change by email. Before sending a wire, confirm the instructions by phone with your account contact. Report any message asking you to pay a different account.
How payment works on a typical order
- We send a pro forma invoice with the final total, including freight and applicable taxes.
- You pay by your chosen method, quoting the invoice number as the reference.
- We confirm receipt of funds by email, usually the same business day for wires received before 14:00 ET.
- The order is released to the warehouse for picking and inspection.
Wire transfer details
Wire instructions are printed on every pro forma invoice. Include the invoice number in the payment reference. Your bank may charge sending fees; intermediary bank fees on international wires are the sender's responsibility. Payments that arrive short because of bank fees will be invoiced for the difference.
Applying for net terms
To apply, email your account contact with:
- Three trade references with contact details
- A bank reference letter
- Your requested credit limit and terms (Net 15 or Net 30)
- Your most recent year-end financial statements for limits above $50,000
Most reviews take 3–5 business days. Credit limits are reviewed periodically and may be raised as your account grows.
Currency
We invoice in Canadian or US dollars. The currency is fixed on the quote and the invoice. Pay in the invoice currency to avoid conversion differences.
Billing questions
If an invoice looks wrong, email us within 10 days of the invoice date. Pay the undisputed portion on time; we will issue a credit note or revised invoice once the question is resolved.
