ThinkBook 16 G6 IRL AMD Ryzen™ 5 7530U Laptop 40.6 cm (16") Touchscreen WUXGA 16 GB DDR4-SDRAM 512

Heightened security’s got you covered

Biometrics provide extra protection on the ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 laptop — from the fingerprint reader integrated with the power button to the facial recognition software that works with the infrared (IR) camera. ThinkShield, our comprehensive suite of security solutions, ensures your system is protected. Trusted Platform Module (TPM) firmware encrypts your data, and a self-healing BIOS restores critical info should your system ever become corrupted.

Looks good, feels great

Along with the sleek look and feel of the Arctic Grey aluminum chassis, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 laptop boasts an upgraded ergonomically redesigned keyboard. The keys are larger than previous generations and include a concave cap that curves to your fingertips — plus, the keyboard is made from 50% post-consumer recycled plastic. The touchpad is much larger than previous generations — so navigating feels smooth and easy. There’s even an F9 smart key that you can customize to open any frequently used app — or keep the default, which opens our Services page.

Stay connected to what matters

The ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 laptop keeps you online with the latest superfast WiFi technology — even on crowded public platforms. Plus, ample USB ports ensure you can easily connect to other devices as needed. An HDMI port conveniently lets you hook up a monitor for dual displays. There’s even an ethernet port if you prefer to connect directly and not use WiFi. Whatever the situation demands, you’ll be delighted with all the ways your ThinkBook can stay connected.

Reliable as the day is long

We use the US Department of Defense's MIL-STD 810H standards to create a balance of reliability and durability for our ThinkBook laptops. We test against 26 procedures to ensure they run in extreme conditions. These tests cover harsh variables like Arctic wilderness and desert dust storms, including temperature, pressure, humidity, vibration, and more.

See & be seen

With its FHD-infrared hybrid camera, the ThinkBook 16 Gen 6 laptop makes video calling a cinch. Rich, clear images on an even bigger screen (given the 16:10 aspect ratio) will make you feel like you’re in the same room. With AI-based noise cancellation and Dolby Audio™, ambient noise gets cancelled and people on the call hear you loud and clear — the same way you’ll hear them. What’s more, when you don’t want to be on camera, the webcam privacy shutter ensures you stay out of sight. Take your collaboration to new levels with the ThinkBook 16.
